The pub is ideally situated just a short stroll from the train station, taxi rank and bus stop in the popular Devon tourist town of Dawlish. You will find you are very close to the town centre and the beautiful beaches with their golden sands. All are just within a couple of minutes walk away.
There is a strong community vibe in our pretty seaside town and the local park is another popular spot, again within easy walking distance. Here you can relax and see the famous black swans of Dawlish.
Built in 1633, the Railway Inn is one of the oldest pubs in Dawlish and can be found on one of the town’s oldest streets. The bar, as well as being very friendly, is also rather quirky and atmospheric.
We have three large TV screens showing BT Sport and all mainstream channels, pool and darts teams, traditional pub games and of course a wide range of beers and wines.
The Railway welcomes dogs and is family friendly. We are open from 11am Monday to Saturday and from 12 noon on Sundays. We have a late license for nights when we have entertainment.
